Bacid - now acting manager

Dear folks!

Long time since the last post, and a new year is upon us!

A great many things has happened since the summer of 2010, the most important being our start-up management company We Manage With Love, WMWL.

WMWL gathers some of the leading artists in the house & techno industry and caters for the Scandinavian market exclusivley. Some of the artists on our roster include DJ Pierre, Jesper Dahlbäck, A Guy Called Gerald, Samuel L Session and many more.

The spring of 2011 holds a lot of goodies in the bag, more info soon!

Hot Hot Hot!

Let's fire up the dance grill at Klub der Republik! The Swedish chefs DJ Bacid (Detroit Calling, Schwedenparty) and The Henrik Maneuver (solar Stockholm) have brought detroit sausages, acidic burgers, tech house chicken nuggets and the best electro steaks for your dancing pleasure.



Together they will fry up an irresistible mixed grill that will get your meat moving and stick to the dance floor way in to saturday morning!

This is also a headz-up for the Secret Island Nation coming up later this summer, where DJ Bacid among some 20 other fine DJs from Berlin & around Europe will be playing some island beat for the free spirits who will gather there!

Time to give a headz-up on activities of Detroit Calling & Bacid this summer!

Detroit Calling together with House Music With Love having hosted a vibrant club under the name of Hacienda at Smålands Nation, Lund, during the spring of 2010, featuring artists such as Özgur Can, Jon Da Silva & Hacienda World Tour, Samuel L Session, Trish Van Eynde & Margaret Dygas.

One amazing spring, and why not celebrate with a Berlin Summer Tour, where Bacid will be playing at Féte de la Musique alongside Ian Pooley, Emerson etc.



Also, two more parties coming up at Klub Der Republik and the cult culturehouse of Tacheles, Café Zapata.

Hey folks!

Long time no hallo and now Sweden is covered by snow, which is actually a rare thing these days, last time this happened it was 2001...

If you are looking for some proper Christmas feeling but with an electronic touch, you know all the cheesy oldies in a really cheesy remix, then look no further than here!



The next year will be a heavy one...We are just kickstarting a new club at Smålands Nation in Lund, called Hacienda. Yeah you guess right, we are very much inspired by the original Fac 51 Haçienda which has influnsed the electronic community for such a long time with the Acid House madness of Happy Mondays, New Order and alike. We won´t back down, the sky is the limit and Hacienda must be built!

Wowow Malmö is a brand new initiative to promote music, culture and art in Malmö and the focus is on the actors in the scene, the artists, the promoters and the DJs...And Detroit Calling is proud to be a part from start!
